The Retail Retreat & Expo is Ireland’s largest retail event attended by more than 1,800 leading retailers – all of whom operate in the Irish market. The two-day event, held in Dublin, is run by Retail Excellence and gives delegates access to a broad range of industry speakers and exhibitors. Keytree is attending as an exhibitor, to demonstrate the company’s latest innovations in retail, including KIT, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Hybris, SAP SuccessFactors and Cloud Platform implementations.

KIT (Keytree In-store Technology) is changing the retail landscape and helping to reinvent the customer journey. KIT, the omni-channel retail application, puts the in-store experience at the heart of the customer’s journey. It creates a connected store which enhances the retail experience and by empowering the store associate, cultivates interaction with customers and drives sales. KIT is designed to leverage existing technologies to optimise customer engagement and for simplifying daily tasks. Extensive configuration and flexibility means KIT is scalable and easily implemented for transforming retail with intuitive digital touchpoints. The team will be on hand to demonstrate KIT’s functionality. For more information visit Keytree In-store Technology or check out the latest updates on Twitter.

Helping change the face of retail

Keytree has a long history of delivering successful projects in the retail sector, which have helped improve business processes for our clients. Keytree’s work with Greggs, the UK’s leading bakery food-on-the-go retailer, was awarded Gold at the SAP Quality Awards 2017 in the Business Transformation Category – the project was the overall 2017 Regional Winner for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The project, known as the Sunrise Programme has reduced costs, increased sales and improved efficiency and productivity. Together with Keytree, Greggs implemented SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA and SAP Fiori apps, revolutionising how shops order stock, reducing bakery waste and simplifying its IT landscape. The project was critical from a business continuity and disruption perspectives, as more than 1,800 shops had a 22-week window to go-live.

Keytree’s retail expertise has helped create an online store for world famous car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover ensuring that all branded merchandise is sold directly and not via dealers or third parties.

Keytree also created SNapp for Smiths News – an app to help reduce the number of calls to their customer service department. Smiths News delivers 40 million newspapers and 14 million magazines each week to more than 30,000 retailers. This time-sensitive, complex supply chain resulted in more than 60,000 calls each week to the four UK call centres. SNapp is a mobile app for iOS and Android that can be used by retail customers to manage deliveries, make alterations, submit claims and receive messages on the go. The project was recognised by SAP and was selected as the Excellence Winner of the SAP UKI Quality Awards in the Mobility Innovation category.

Meanwhile, we are delighted to confirm that the Keytree project to deliver a S/4HANA Cloud solution for our customer Pladis has gone live successfully. This ground-breaking project, delivering a cloud-based solution for Pladis’ North America finance, sales and manufacturing operations, went live in under six months. The collaboration between Keytree, Pladis and SAP made this a resounding success with rollout to further geographies planned.

Come along and meet the team from Keytree at Citywest in Dublin on 15 and 16 May 2018 to discover how the world of retail is changing and how Keytree is at the heart of this change.
